Nothing is too tough for the SD116DX and SD116F single drum soil compactors, not even steep grades. A built-in Ultra-Grade® traction system enhances grade climbing grip, extending versatility on the most difficult terrain. In addition to axles and drive motors specifically designed for climbing, these compactors are powered by a heavy-duty, 160 horsepower (119 kilowatt) Cummins turbocharged diesel engine providing abundant torque to propel the SD116DX and SD116F over both highly cohesive and granular soils.
